Lex Victor: Once again we would like to thank you for tuning in to Danger Zone this week as we have a tremendous
yet to come. We have all three singles titles up for grabs all in very interesting defenses. We have already seen
some amazing matches, but the best is yet to come.
Geoffery Smith: I would definitely agree, and in the locker room right now we have Michael Richardson back there getting
a few words with Maverick on this matchup, so let's take you back there.
::The camera changes to a view inside the
locker room.::
{Locker room}
Michael Richardson: Thanks a lot, Jeff! Anyway, Maverick, what are your thoughts on your match with Orpheus 1 tonight
after your loss to Sub Zero just a few days ago right here in this very facility?
Maverick: Well,
first off that there Sub Zero fight was nothing! I should have won that there match, but that doesn't matter right
now. 'Cause you see, Orpheus, I am gonna be focusing on destroying your body tonight, so you best be headin' out
of town cause even your friends ain't gonna recognize ya after I get done with ya!
Michael Richardson: Thanks a lot for your time, Maverick, now back to you, Lex.
::The camera changes to a view of commentary
table.::
Lex Victor: Thanks
a lot Michael Well, we'll just have to see what actually happens in the match tonight, what do you think, Jeff?
Frenchie Parker: Excuse me, Lex, but what I would like to know is why you didn't have Knee back there doing the interview.
He was the best man for the job.
Lex Victor: Actually, Parker...
Frenchie Parker: Please call me Frenchie.
Lex Victor: No. But anyway, Parker, it just so happens that Knee's contract is kind of up in the air at this time.
It is yet unknown if he will actually sign up with the CNWF² once again. I personally hope so, but of course
he did get us in a lot of legal trouble with a rival organization, so he may not be back at all.
Frenchie Parker: I know he will come through, Lex. I just know it.
Geoffery Smith: I believe that is Maverick's music playing, now. I believe he is making his way to the ring as we
speak. We should definitely pay more attention to the match than these side shows.
::The camera changes to a view of
the walkway.::
{Walkway}
Maverick is already making his
way down the aisle as the ring announcer announces the match.
Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, standing at six feet six inches,
weighing in at two-hundred eighty-three pounds... the Maverick!
The fans continue to cheer as this massive,
tall man makes his way to the ring. He has a very focused look and appears to be ready for anything.
{Commentary}
Lex Victor: Well, there he is! The Maverick. He says he is going to really take it to Orpheus 1 tonight, the man
who just so happens to be the first man to ever join this very federation back when it's initals were the CWF.
This was his first federation, and he really made a name for himself after being in one of the most physically
demanding matches in CNWF history, that being the famous casket match against Death Strike. The Maverick is definitely
in for a challenge tonight.
Frenchie Parker: I do remember this man from way back then, and he definitely was a force. He did make it into the
first round of the first World Title tournoment back at the very beginning of this federation, but that was it.
I would also like to add that after that match with Death Strike, it just seems as if he has gone on a downward
spiral to becoming nothing.
Geoffery Smith: I wouldn't say that Parker. This man still has what it takes to go toe to toe with anyone. He just
needs the confidence.
Lex Victor: Speaking of Orpheus 1, here he comes!
{Walkway}
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, standing at six feet nine inches, weighing three hundred pounds... Orpheus 1!
Smoke is slowly covering the ground
as the lights dim to near black. Orpheus then walks out as the fans begin to cheer wildly to the tall man. However,
he seems to ignore them and just quietly enter the ring and look down at Maverick.
{Commentary}
Lex Victor: Well, there he is. The self proclaimed God of music. The fans really seem to love this guy, but he
seems to be the type that dwells on hating himself.
Frenchie Parker: I would say that would be quite an interesting lesson in psychology, but the one thing I notice about
him is he has really gained a lot of weight since he first joined up with the CWF. He has put on about fifty pounds
since then, but it is all muscle mass. He really looks like he can stand toe to toe with anyone. He definitely
looks like a force to be reckoned with.
Lex Victor: Try telling that to him! He'll never believe it. But I think it is plain to see that this man has
some untapped abilities that he has yet to unleash. Well, there's the bell.
{Orpheus 1 vs Maverick}
{One fall singles match}
Maverick gets started pretty quick
by quickly delivering a boot to the mid-section of Orpheus 1 and pulling him down to the canvas with a fierce DDT.
He then begins to stomp on his face for a while until the referee breaks it up. He then quickly follows up by picking
up the fallen Orpheus and slamming his face into a turnbuckle, then kicking his leg out from under the huge man.
{Commentary}
Lex Victor: Maverick
has really gotten on top of this matchup as he drops an elbow right across the face of Orpheus 1. It seems as if
he is deliberately trying to mangle this man's face, and for what reason I do not know.
Jeoffery Smith: I feel that perhaps Maverick is trying to make an example of this old ring veteran,
but the way I see it perhaps he is going a bit too far. He should be concentrating more on winning the match than
mangling his opponent.
Frenchie Parker: Personally, I feel he might as well ruin his face! It may actually turn out to be
an improvement!
Lex Victor: Now
that was uncalled for, Parker, but look at this! Maverick just ran at Orpheus attempting to clotheslin him over,
but all that resulted in was a high back body drop and now Maverick is on the outside of the ring!
{Match}
It doesn't take long for Orpheus
1 to follow Maverick out of the ring. It looks as if Orphues 1 is suffering from a bloody nose as well. He eventually
goes over to Maverick and picks him up off the ground. While he has him, he whips Maverick hard into the steel
steps and now Maverick is on the ground reeling in pain. Orpheus takes this opportunity to walk over to Maverick
and attempt something, but as he gets close, Maverick suddenly jumps up, grabs Orpheus by the head, and pulls him
down hard onto the steel steps.
{Commentary}
Geoffery Smith: Lex, that was definitely uncalled for!
Frenchie Parker: Actually, Jeffy, I'd say that was a great idea by Maverick. He keeps on attacking
his face and if he keeps that up, he will definitely be able to put him out with ease.
Lex Victor: Parker,
multiple face attacks in wrestling are definitely uncalled for. Especially when they are done with such malicious
intent. But of course these things do happen, and there is no real law against it. He hasn't hit him with a closed
fist yet in the ring, so he still hasn't actually broken any rules. However, right now it looks as if he is hitting
him with closed fists in quick succession! Orpheus is reeling on the ground now and Maverick quickly rolls back
into the ring and out again to restart the count.
{Match}
Since Maverick did that, Orpheus
has since gotten himself a chair. He is now running at Maverick with it, but Maverick lifts his foot just in time
and smashes the chair hard against Orpheus' face pancaking it against the chair. Orpheus now falls to the ground
in pain after that move. Maverick is now signaling for something.
{Commentary}
Geoffery Smith: What is going on here, Lex? You can't let this go on!
Lex Victor: If
you are suggesting that I call the match, that isn't my duty. The referee hasn't seen fit to do so... oh my! I
think he's gonna deliver the Five Carder outside the ring right on to those steel steps! Oh no!
{Match}
Maverick now lifts Orpheus 1 up
high into the air as the crowd cheers wildly. He then brings him down hard in a brain buster which really takes
it's toll on Orpheus 1. Orpheus falls now so he is laying with his face resting on the edge of the steel steps.
Maverick gets to him really quick and bashes his face into the side of that step really hard and blood begins to
flow profusely out of his face. Blood spatters all over the floor and on to Maverick himself as he does this, thereby
horribly cutting up the face of Orpheus 1. He finally lets up and lets Orpheus slump to the ground. As he rolls
back into the ring, the referee continues the count.
{Commentary}
Geoffery Smith: This just isn't right, Lex. Orpheus looks like he is unconscious outside the ring
because of all the pain he has endured, and there is nothing that could stop him. What is the meaning of this?
Lex Victor: This
is wrestling, Jeff. Things like this happen all the time.
Geoffery Smith: Don't you have any kind of feelings, Lex? I mean look at Orpheus outside the ring!
He has blood coming out of every part of his face, and all you can think about is the profit! Oh no! He's now gone
into convulsions and all you do is sit there and act like you own the world! This Corporate s(CENSORED) has
gone too far, Lex!
Lex Victor: LISTEN
HERE, SMITH! The days of the big Corperate CNWF are OVER, dammit! That is all in the past! We are now a second
rate federation wheather you like it or not! This is what has to happen! If you can't live with it, find yourself
another G(CENSORED)amn job because we just don't have room for you here! Anyway, there is the
f(CENSORED)ing bell. Maverick just won by countout, and so what if it got a little bloody? He
got the job done! Now I suggest you go and do yours.
Geoffery Smith: Sorry about that, Lex. It's just this new way is very difficult for me to get used
to. The lower salary, and actually having to be a major player on these shows is something I just am not used to.
It won't happen again.
Lex Victor: It
had better not. I just don't like it when people start comparing this to the old days, because it isn't. This is
no longer a major power in wrestling. We will be the next power, but we all have to work toward it. You think it
was easy for me to pull in a big audience like this?
{Match}
Ring Announcer: The winner of this match, as a result of a count out... Maverick!
{Maverick by count out}
::The camera changes to a view of
the commentary table.::
{Commentary}
Lex Victor: I had to work day and night to get this place filled to a capacity like this. We have pretty close
to a sold out crowd tonight which was more than what you guys did when I left everything up to you. I have to give
them what they want, and they want a thrill. I can't just throw together a card and expect people to like it anymore
just because this is CNWF² because we haven't gotten to that point yet. The old glory is gone and it is time
for some new glory.
Frenchie Parker: The crowd is still cheering! The stretcher crew has now come and the crowd is really going wild! They
really love it, Lex! You have done your job.
Geoffery Smith: I suppose I owe you an apology, Lex, but still, I must say this was quite catastrophic.
Lex Victor: Indeed it was. I really do not like to see people in pain, but his pain is ensuring the future of
the CNWF². Accidents like these should not happen, and who knows what kind of medical attention Orpheus is
going to need after this, but I will say myself that I wish him the best of luck in his recovery. This truly is
a trajic incident, and I do apologize for any of you who may be offended by something like this.
Geoffery Smith: Well, this next match is going to be something. It seems to me that Backbreaker feels he is the rightful
Television champion, but Mangler seems to be out to prove that he is the one who deserves that title the most.
Mangler is the type of man who will do anything to keep that title, but Backbreaker is familiar with those kind
of tactics. Of course, the Television title is on the line in this match, so look for both competitors to do what
it takes to secure the gold.
Frenchie Parker: In my estimation, Mangler is not even ready for this match. He already lost a match a few days ago
to the current United States title holder, Jeff Beam, and I really do not think he will have a whole lot more luck
against Backbreaker.
Lex Victor: I agree with you there, Parker. Backbreaker seems to really want that gold more than Mangler wants
to keep it, so you really never know just what is going to happen in this matchup.
::The camera changes to a view of
the walkway.::
{Walkway}
Ring Announcer: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the CNWF² World Television Title! Introducing
first, from Toms River, New Jersey, standing at six feet six inches, weighing two-hundred ninety-one pounds, the
CNWF² World Television Champion... the Mangler!
The Mangler just walks out to loud
booing from the audience. He doesn't seem to care as he steps into the ring.
{Commentary}
Geoffery Smith: Well, there's the Mangler. I really do not think that he is going to keep that belt tonight, either.
Frenchie Parker: Oh, nonsense, Jeffy. You know that there is no chance that Backbreaker can beat him. This man happens
to be the greatest Television champion of all time. The first real champion just can't come here and beat him,
you know.
Lex Victor: Actually, Parker, he stands a very good chance of defeating him. The Backbreaker is one of the tougher
competitors in the CNWF², and he should be given the respect he deserves.
{Walkway}
Ring Announcer: And the challenger, from Shawnee, Oklahoma, standing at six feet one inch, weighing in at two-hundred
thirty-three pounds, the Backbreaker!
Fireworks go off and the Backbreaker's
music starts as he steps out. The crowd immediately begins cheering for him, but right now he is entirely focused
on winning the match. He walks right into the ring and stares right in to the eyes of Mangler and just waits for
the bell to ring.
{Commentary}
Lex Victor: That Backbreaker seems to be more popular now that he has this meaner attitude for some reason. It
seemed as if most people were going to hate him when he started going this way, but I think his fans like him this
way.
Frenchie Parker: That's the way the CNWF² has always been. If you remember, the Evil Lord Pelius happened to be
the most popular wrestler in the CNWF, and he was evil as they come! He nearly chopped someone's head off a few
months ago, and that's when his popularity skyrocketed.
Geoffery Smith: Yes. And that's why you never got over big, Frenchie. I don't believe you were ever very well liked,
you and your stupid pansy ways in the ring.
Frenchie Parker: You stop right there, alright! I have had just about enough of your mouth, alright?
Lex Victor: Well, it looks like this match is getting underway.
{Backbreaker vs Mangler}
{World Television Title on the
line in one fall singles competition}
The Mangler tries to catch the Backbreker
off guard with a clothesline, but instead, Backbreaker sees this and he rams Mangler's face into the turn buckle.
He then bashes his face into it several times before delivering a chop across the chest. He then attempts to hip-toss
him out of the corner, but Mangler blocks it and hits him hard with a short clothesline. He then picks Backbreaker
up off the ground and lifts him hich over his head in a gorilla press and throws him out of the ring. Mangler quickly
follows him out.
{Commentary}
Geoffery Smith: That Backbreaker sure has gotten things off to a quick start.
Lex Victor: I
would definitely say so. Well, here is Mangler with what looks like it is going to be a bodyslam against the steel
steps.. wait.. NO! Backbreaker turned it into a Frankensteiner into the steps! That has to hurt!
Frenchie Parker: Look at Backbreaker stomping on the back of the Mangler! Now he's picking him up..
well, he just put him back in the ring now.
Lex Victor: Backbreaker
now going back into the ring.. well, it looks more like he is going for a high risk maneuver... drop kick off the
top rope! That really knocked the steam out of Mangler!
{Match}
Backbreaker now puts the Mangler
into a full nelson to keep him grounded. However, Mangler is a bit too strong and he gets up and stands up completely.
He then totally powers his way out of the maneuver, and as he gets out of it, Backbreaker turns around to try to
get something going against Mangler, but he is greeted by a stiff fist shot to the face which stuns him. Mangler
then whips him to the ropes and attempts an arm drag takeover as he comes back, but Backbreaker blocks it and counters
with a back-slide. He manages to get Mangler down to the canvas and the ref goes for the count. Mangler kicks out
by the time the ref gets to two, so the match continues.
{Commentary}
Geoffery Smith: Those have been some interesting tactics by the challenger in this match. It looks
like he has taken advantage of every mistake that the Mangler has made.
Lex Victor: I
would say so, Jeff, but what is this? What is BigFig doing here? We have to go to a commercial break, so please
stay with us!
